The course offers information and a range of practical exercises to allow you to use colour in your work with ease and confidence. Explore the ideas as well as the selection of colour arrangements which can be harmonized or contrasted. This course will open your eyes to colour, as well as build into an invaluable colour reference for your future work.
The course consists of:
Comprehensive course notes.

75 exercise sheets printed on 140 lb acid/free watercolour paper or acid/free textured oil painting paper.

Presentation binder, with protective translucent sleeves.

A laminated colour Bias Wheel .
A printed laminated practice mixing palette.
A No. 8 'Michael Wilcox' high quality round brush.
The course is available in two versions:

For watercolours, gouache and thinly applied acrylics. Exercises on 140lb acid free watercolour paper.
For oils or heavily applied acrylics. Exercises printed on acid free simulated canvas.

The video 'Successful Colour Mixing' our 'Colour Coded Mixing Palette' and our Artist's Quality Paints are optional but would be very useful. (These products are not included as so many artists already possess them).
